It is eco-friendly (of course, aren’t all bidets?) so you can rest assured that you will have the environmental and financial savings that naturally follow this expectation.
While I could go on about how it holds just about every feature desirable – there was one that truly stood out to me when using this seat. The nozzle was amazing. It was a mix of oscillation and pulsating, with no cold water. While I will not get graphic here, the coverage was unreal. I highly recommend this seat if you are in any way able to purchase it.
Something to keep in mind when considering the overall cost of a bidet is what you are truly investing in. If you consider the long-term costs and benefits, you will see that investing in a bidet that has the features you desire will be worth the up-front cost. 2. Coway Bidetmega 400E
The Coway Bidetmega 400E could match the BioBidet option above on almost every level and, at the time of writing this, it is a bit less expensive which could have pushed me over the top on the list order. The only reason this bidet did not rank as well for me personally (though it is still considerably high overall), was due to the fact that I did not like the way the remote worked.
I think for the average user, this would be not a big deal, so definitely check it out! But for me, it just seemed less intuitive. At the end of the day, the remote is not going to be the deciding factor for most people, but it just seemed important to mention.
My favorite feature on this bidet was the cleaning action! It seems odd to pick a feature that is less wanted by most users, but when I saw how well it cleaned the nozzle and bowl, I knew this would be a winner on the list for sure. If you are one of two people, I think this is the bidet seat for you.
- You are a germaphobe/neat freak and want a good washing on your toilet bowl every time it is used (no shame here ~ this is an understandable sentiment).
- You host a lot of people in your home and want to make sure everything is clean so multiple users are being safe (also, very understandable).
Even if neither of these is you, this bidet seat should approach the top of your list (as it did mine). While bidets are all-in-all designed to provide a sanitary experience for each user, it is still comforting to know that the self-cleansing modality reduces the number of times you will need to manually clean your bidet between uses.
This option is an incredible bidet seat with every function you could possibly want. Another huge plus (even though I said the remote seemed less intuitive) is that the remote has braille on it – making this a great seat for the visually impaired population. This, among many other features that you will find, helped it climb to the top of my recommendation list.

3. SmartBidet SB-3000
Well, the SmartBidet SB-3000 bidet certainly has a lot to offer. It provides everything you would want from the oscillation to different wash types and even offers on-demand heated water that will never run out (now THAT is an amazing feature).
While this was an impressive bidet (especially seeing that it is not the most expensive on the list) there are two things that make this really sit high in the rankings of this list. First of all, it just looks AWESOME. I mean, there is a type of luxury that comes with an aesthetically pleasing seat, and this bidet seat has it. You are sure to keep the calming, sleek design of your bathroom when you install this model of bidet seat.
The second “wow” factor, which I did not originally think I would care about, is the screen on the remote control. That’s right- it is a small feature in theory, but once you have that in front of you, it makes life a lot easier. Many bidet seats have limited screens or no screens at all, whereas this one has everything you need in order for you to be able to see settings easier than a few identical lights.
I highly recommend this as a way to demonstrate class and luxury without suffering from high costs of other bidet seats and bidet models. Since the SmartBidet SB-3000 falls mid-range in price, you are sure to win by investing in this bidet seat option.

4. Toto SW3056
Well – I know I just spoke about luxury with the last bidet seat option that I ranked, but I guess that depends on what type of luxury you are looking for. This bidet, the Toto SW3056, is one of the most (possibly the most depending on when you are reading this) expensive options on the list. Now, when I say this does not seem like the most luxurious, you have to understand that this may not be telling the full story.
Sitting on this seat, holding this remote, and seeing this option in a real-life setting – it is definitely the epitome of luxury. The reason this does not top the list for my recommendations is due to price, and it is missing a couple of features that the top seats I recommended have.
Now, what does stand out about this one is just how nice and high-quality each feature is. The remote is perfect, feels amazing to hold, and heavy-duty. Additionally, it has an automatic seat so it opens for you as you approach the toilet. How cool is that, right?
Then something I never, ever thought I would care about is the night light. This light is on the outside of the seat and illuminates next to it. While it may sound weird, and I am sure in some rooms it would not work as well, please check out this seat and look through the pictures. I am not saying buy it necessarily (unless it fits your needs and wants), but at least give that nightlight a chance to shine!

5. Lotus Smart Bidet ATS-909
The Lotus Smart Bidet ATS-909 is a great bidet seat. I would define this as the “sensible choice” for almost any buyer. It is kind of like getting a base-model car instead of the luxury version. Do not take that the wrong way – it has all the top features and more! The reasons it is not top of the list are a plastic nozzle and a little less sleek look and feel.
Now, what is so great about it? Everything. It is a quality choice and thus made my recommendation list. My favorite feature on this bidet seat is the carbon filter deodorizer. This is one we have not seen on many on this list (though this feature is increasing in popularity), but it is a huge plus.
The other, highly notable feature is the number of wash settings. Purestream, rear, lady, and massage options are all available with this bidet seat. You will be able to choose exactly what, where, and how you feel the water from this seat.
This bidet seat is worth checking out for a modest budget, especially if you are not a flashy person – this will be a bidet that stays with you and works reliably for years to come. While I refer to this as sensible, modest, and non-flashy, do know that I believe this bidet seat still adds spa-like luxury to your home bathroom.

6. American Standard 8012A60GRC-020
This American Standard model bidet seat made the list for a very specific reason. While I wanted an American Standard on the list because I admire their company, enjoy their products, and have always had great experiences, I also wanted to make sure it was worthy of being on the best bidet seats list.
When I used this bidet seat, I was very impressed with the ability it had to clean off the locations that I desired. The dual-nozzle worked perfectly, and I felt clean in less time than most of the bidets on this list! This truly got to all angles to make me feel refreshed down-under.
I highly recommend this as a great choice for anyone as it looks great and functions perfectly. I really like the light on this one as well. The illumination makes using this bidet seat feel so luxurious. While it was in the toilet (which I am less fond of after seeing that Toto model), it was soft and dim- but still illuminated the area plenty enough to see where to go and what you were doing with the wash.
Between the look, feel, and function – this should be looked into as an affordable option for someone who needs a great bidet seat. Especially for anyone looking for a dual-nozzle, mid-range bidet seat, this one makes a great choice.

7. GenieBidet Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle
Possibly the most basic bidet on this list, the GenieBidet Self-Cleaning Dual Nozzle bidet seat still made the cut. I wanted to include one that was much more affordable than the others in the interest of my readers and providing an unbiased opinion on a lower-budget bidet seat. Like with most things, you do get what you pay for (at least in the number of features), but you can still have a great product with this brand!
If you are a functional person, this bidet might be for you. With both feminine and bidet cleaning, a soft close seat, easy on/off valve (so no accidental sprays happen with people who are not used to bidets), self-cleaning, and pressure control – this bidet has all the must-have features for a simple lifestyle for your at-home bidet. These features are often seen as necessary in modern bidet seats, and they live up to the hype on this model.
The main downside (for me) is the inability to control water temperature. While I could argue that it is helpful in waking me up in the morning, that feature is a tough one to go without for me. The comfort of a warm, adjustable temperature setting is more up my alley. If you just want a simple, easy to use, affordable bidet though, this is exactly why it made this list.

How We Ranked Bidet Seats
When considering the numerous bidet seats on the market, there is no easy, clear way to go about this ranking. Every product marketed by a company is going to try to sell you on its luxury with nice pictures and maybe even some animated videos. The only way to know a bidet seat works well and feels and looks great is to test it out for yourself. Everyone’s bathroom preferences are just that- preferences- as this is a very intimate and personal daily experience.
A lot of our rankings are based on actual use instead of features listed by a company (who only wants to sell you theirs). This is why some of the more expensive and luxury bidets do not rank as high on the list as they would if you sorted by price. While the features that many offer sound great in theory, you will soon find out about the ones you cannot live without (like adjustable water temperature for me).
Overall, the most important thing in ranking the best bidet seats is features (which explains the #7 on this list). But we like to factor in price, feel of the seat, those small features that you would not know you had a preference on (or ever think about) until you actually saw the bidet.
